BBC Radio Bristol – “Election bard”
So throughout April I will be serving as BBC Radio Bristol’s “election bard”, writing and performing some poetic rundowns of what’s occurin’ in the delightful / disgusting / terrifying / infuriating / violently dispiriting / delete or add words as applicable circus that is the general election run-up. This week they ran an introductory piece from me, and a short interview in which I attempted to be vaguely articulate about, um, politics, and, um, stuff. You can listen back here for 27 days (or just once). The poem is around the 42:30ish mark, with the interview (and a repeat of the poem) following at 02:18:40ish.
